Check out our brand-new interactive series of fact-checking videos.
We have just come to the end of our first fact-checking series. We've delved into common animal research misconceptions such as:
- are cosmetics still tested on animals?
- can alternative methods completely replace the use of animals in research?
- does 90% of animal testing really fail?
-and more
We posed the myth to our social media followers and asked whether it was true or false, before posting an explanation and educational overview of the topic. The results have been mixed, but overall, our followers have successfully been able to sort fact from fiction.
Want to test your animal research knowledge?
You can view the entire series of fact checking videos on YouTube.
Follow us on Instagram and LinkedIn to take part in our next round of weekly polls.
Our next round of fact-checking polls and videos will be released in the next few weeks and will include topics such as:
- which country in Europe is the largest user of research animals?
- the animal research behind the Covid-19 vaccine
- and comparing animal models and NAMs in toxicology testing
Stay tuned!
