MBR is a facility that breeds dogs for scientific, medical, and veterinary research in the UK. In this video, we take a look around their facility and explore the reasons why dogs are used in research.
The majority of the human and animal medicines we have available today have been developed using dogs. Although dogs only account for 0.2% of all animal experiments in the UK, their use is essential to scientific, medical, and veterinary research.
