In the second of a two-part series, filmed by the UAR team, we investigate the research carried out by Professor Emma Robinson at the University of Bristol.

We learn how Emma and her team are studying the effects of Ketamine and Psilocybin when treating mental health disorders, most notably depression and anxiety.

In groundbreaking research, her team have been analysing how both drugs impact memory and decision making in the brain.  In the film, we discover how Ketamine and Psilocybin effect the brain of rodents, and a simple yet powerful test for affective bias - a key tool in determining the drugs’ efficacy in treating mental health disorders.

Find out more about Professor Emma Robinson and her research.
