Caring for chickens in the laboratory
Chickens are integral to scientific research, especially to the study of avian influenza and other poultry diseases, as well as the development of much needed vaccines. In this video, we talk with an animal technician at the Pirbright Institute to learn about the care and welfare of chickens in scientific research, in the UK.
