We've produced a new leaflet and accompanying video that is being distributed to GP waiting rooms throughout the UK for the next six months. This Wellcome Trust supported leaflet will also be available in pharmacies in England.
The leaflet and video Where do medicines come from? outline the vital role animal research plays in the development of medicines and vaccines.They illustrate this with examples such as treatments for high blood pressure, asthma and diabetes, and vaccines against cervical cancer and 'flu.
