The UAR SchoolZone is a brand new part of our site dedicated to school age students and their teachers.
It is full of fun features and lesson ideas about animals in science and we will be adding something new every month.
The Zone has been designed with key stage 3 biology in mind but there is masses there for the citizenship teacher or anyone with a general interest in the ethics of science and the role of the laboratory animal as well.
We hope the SchoolZone will give teachers everything they need to help their classes get to grips with practical and moral sides of animal research. But there will be a new teaching resource each month and so, if there is anything you need which we don't have, just let us know and we will do what we can to fill the gap.
