kidney-patients-story.jpgTransplants get rejected, sometimes quickly and sometimes slowly. The impact of kidney transplantation on the quality of life of a person who could only otherwise survive on dialysis is told with considerable humour and honesty by Darren Cawley in our latest film.

The most recent rejection controlling treatments can allow a transplanted organ to live many years. These treatments have been developed in part through animal research. Heart transplants in mice provide a model for testing new anti-rejection treatments, a topic considered in our previous film about transplantation.

These films are available within our website and also on our vimeo channel so that you can select a download quality to match your viewing device.
