Job Details: The European Animal Research Association has been established to inform the European public on the continued need for, and benefit of, the humane use of animals in biomedical research. It seeks to provide support, advocacy and reliable communication on behalf of public and private researchers at both national and European levels. The intern will assist in the implementation of an external affairs strategy as directed by the Executive Director. The candidate will be required to work for a minimum of 3 days per week in our office in Clerkenwell London, at least until May 2015. The post may also require some foreign travel.

The project office intern will have an understanding of the issues (political/cultural/scientific) surrounding animal research and will appreciate the need for humane animal research in Europe. They will have excellent writing and verbal communications skills. Database management expertise is essential. Knowledge of German and or Italian would be helpful.
