artificial–blood–vessel≠invitro.jpgThis animation video from the British Heart Foundation (BHF) shows how stem cells might be used to repair damaged hearts one day. As well as being generally interesting we think science teachers might find this film useful.

In four minutes we learn about stem cells, heart failure, and BHF's hope that research in zebrafish will allow 'broken hearts to be mended'.
